BT Law Office Featured on CBS News in Assault Case

BT Law Office is currently representing Patrice Brumfield who was unlawfully assaulted by a school principal at Flatrock Elementary School in DeKalb County.

Tension over the bus driver strike in DeKalb County took a violent turn at an elementary school in Lithonia on Monday.

Things got physical when Patrice Brumfield, a parent who allegedly became upset over the transportation disruptions, confronted the school’s principal.

CBS46 has been in contact with administrators at Flat Rock Elementary, the communications team at DeKalb County Schools and to the police department, but no one has been willing to release the name of the mother who was arrested.

But the chaos that parents captured on tape inside of the school’s cafeteria is disturbing.

In the video, you can see the mother, in a purple shirt, clinging to the door, refusing to be pushed out. The principal, Dr. Malik Douglas, in the white shirt, scuffles with the mother, pushing and pulling until she’s free.
